R. "Trey" Arvizu, III
I graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law in May of 1991. During the time I was obtaining my law degree, I also obtained a Masters of Business Administration in Tax Accounting from the University of New Mexico Robert O. Anderson school of business. While in law school, I also took and passed the Certified Public Accountant's test; however, I am not a practicing CPA at this time.
After graduating, I worked for a couple of the larger law firms in New Mexico for about five years. In January of 1996, I started my own law practice in Roswell as a general practitioner in areas of real estate, corporations, estate planning and bankruptcy. I began focusing more heavily in bankruptcy law after I noticed that bankruptcy clients were always grateful and happy clients at the end of the process. I liked the fact that what I was doing was actually helping people eliminate the stress and burdens that come with financial hardships. By 2006, I had filed over 2,500 bankruptcies for individuals in Southern New Mexico. In the year 2005, my office filed a record 525 bankruptcies. I am a New Mexico native born in Artesia and raised in Roswell. In 2002, I moved my family to Las Cruces and opened the Las Cruces office.

| Polly Arvizu
Polly is who you will most likely speak with when you call our office. Polly helped start the law firm back in 1996 out of the basement of our home. Although she was born at Misowa Air Base in Japan, she has lived in New Mexico since she was three years old and considers herself a "native" New Mexican. She is also very proud of her Japanese heritage. She lived at Holloman Airforce base for a short time, but primarily grew up and lived in Albuquerque. Polly wears many hats at the office including processing bankruptcy cases, scheduling appointments, answering client general questions and other clerical activities. Her background included many years as a paralegal for prestigous lawfirms in Albuquerque where she had significant experience in bankruptcy, domestic relations, personal injury and other complex commercial litigation matters.
